What is Muskan.ai?

Muskan.ai is an AI platform that utilizes advanced technologies like AI in combination with various hardware and software components such as smartphones, mobile devices, cameras, web platforms, and different types of images, including radiographs. Its primary objective is to offer preliminary oral health diagnosis and information, including intraoral and external mouth images, such as teeth, gums, jawline, and tongue.

Through its parent company, Muskan.ai aims to provide users with the necessary tools to achieve core objectives related to oral health and hygiene, including detecting oral cancer. It operates by providing a platform for users that can be reviewed by artificial intelligence and machine learning to assess and provide guidance on potential services required from a dentist or other registered health professional.

Muskan.ai facilitates initial consultations between users and healthcare professionals, such as doctors or dentists, and supports communication, coordination, and other activities associated with patient-doctor/dentist engagement.

The reports and provisional diagnosis provided by Muskan.ai should not be solely relied upon as the basis for any treatment or medical intervention. It is not intended to replace or serve as an alternative to various other means and tests for diagnosis, nor does it replace the necessity of visiting, consulting, and engaging with a doctor, dentist, and/or any registered healthcare professional or institute.

Why we need Consent?

For Muskan.ai to provide you with reports of your preliminary diagnosis, it collects, uses, and processes information associated with you, including personal, demographic, and sensitive health information.

We require your consent to authorize us to collect and process the information mentioned above, evaluate it, and use it for model improvement purposes. We may also disclose this information to doctors, dentists, and other registered healthcare professionals or institutes to facilitate screening, consultations (virtual and/or in-person), further diagnosis, or treatment planning.

By giving consent, you authorize us to collect, use, and process your personal and health information, including but not limited to your name, address, phone number, and images of your teeth, gums, jawline, and other oral structures. You also allow us to share this information with healthcare professionals for the purposes mentioned above.

Giving Your Consent:

(a) I consent to Muskan.ai collecting my personal information, demographic data, and sensitive health information as per the Muskan.ai Privacy Policy, T&C, and other policies available on our website.

(b) I consent to my doctor, dentist, or other registered healthcare professional uploading my information and images to Muskan.ai.

(c) I acknowledge that Muskan.ai does not provide a definitive diagnosis and is only used for pre-screening purposes. I understand that I must visit and consult my doctor, dentist, or other registered healthcare professional for further evaluation, assessment, and treatment.

(d) I confirm that I have read and understood the Muskan.ai Privacy Policy, T&C, and other policies mentioned in this consent form.

(e) I confirm that I have read and understood Muskan.ai’s terms and conditions.

(f) I acknowledge that I am 18 years or older, or at least the legal age of consent in my country of use, if it is higher than 18 years.

(g) If I am under the age of eighteen (18) (or below the legal age of consent in my country of use), my parent or guardian must give their consent.
